The TOPPING PA5 is a fully balanced Class D power amplifier--an affordable and efficient option for powering your bookshelf or floor stand speakers. As a balanced amplifier, it powers each incoming channel with a separate amplifier chip. As a Class D amp, it uses far less power than Class A amps, making it super efficient.
Fully-balanced Class D amplification
The newly developed Class-D amplification circuit uses multiple novel optimization techniques to fully push the performance and output power to the maximum. The new circuit provides crisp, clean, and deep sound with a completely inaudible noise floor. The fully balanced structure results in zero hum, zero noise, and zero ground loop noise.
High output power
The PA5 can output 140W x2 @ 4Ω load. This highly powerful output is sufficient to drive most speakers and applications.
Balanced TRS inputs
Connect multiple sources via TRS balanced inputs. The balanced input option eliminates potential ground loop problems, providing pristine audio without hum.
